Most people are ghetto. The only ones who aren’t are the ones who can burn money for heat like in the cartoons, and ignorant children of middle-class white people (who are in debt, and ARE, in fact, upper-class ghetto).
While I know it is ghetto to use layaway, I still use it. Who in their right mind would use a CC at 18+% interest, when for a couple of dollars you can put something on layaway? Most people who use layaway use it for Christmas. I make $45,000 a year, and have more bills than I know what to do with. If not for layaway, my kids would get socks and underwear every year.
BTW, I’m white with a friends of all races. We think this blog’s pretty funny. Fuck y’all that can’t take a joke.

You post was very abrasive, very bitter. I thnk you have a very narrow view of what’s going on in this country, today.
You should realize, not all white people get all the advantages you were talking about. I make good money, but am not affluent. I have 3 kids, massive debt, I rent, have no 401k, have a beater for a car (’89 Honda Accord, lol) and see no light at the end of the tunnel. Most of my friends are in the same boat or worse.
I am not even considered middle-class, because the amount I spend just to keep food on the table, pay rent, daycare, etc. almost outstrips what I make. Saving ANY amount, paycheck to paycheck, is a joke.
Please don’t think that there is more opportunity for somone who is white than for someone who is black. It’s not about what color you are, it’s about who you know. Geographic location has a lot to do with it, as well. I know there are plenty of racist bastards out there, don’t put yourself in the same boat by generalizing the situation. I went to your site, and you seem pretty intelligent. I’m sure you were pretty steamed by some of the comments here.

Let me just start off by saying that I am in no way a racist and that I’m a biracial, half black half white dude. When I was young I lived in the inner city and the people there are NOT lazy.
