It’s time to pay respects to our fellow brethren known as Ghetto People. You see ghetto people everywhere whether you choose to acknowledge them or not. In fact you can’t help but to notice Ghetto People because often times they stand out like herpes due to their gaudy jewelry from the swap meet, flamboyant hairstyles, rowdy language, or clothes that are either too tight, six sizes too big, or down right inappropriate for the occasion. Either way, this blog will help you understand ghetto people in the event you have to interact with them since they will never go away. But do you really want Ghetto People to go away? They make life interesting for all the boring folks out there. This blog will be an educational tool to understand the mindset of Ghetto People and the ridiculousness that ensues in their everyday lives. Besides everyone regardless of race, gender, and creed has a little ghetto in them.

This blog’s creator has to be black. He or she hits several nails on the head. Trust me, these articles are written by someone has been up close and personal with ghetto life.The list of “stuff ghetto people like” would be shorter and less accurate if written by anyone other than a black author.
I was about to clap to it…but that’s not necessarily true. People have the idea that hoods are all predominantly Black, but on the real tip a lot of Latinos, many whites, and even some Asians of the darnedest nationalities (hood Persians, Indians, and Pinoys, anyone?) came up in the hood or went to hood schools, hence they came to have hood tastes.

First off this blog is super funny. I found it the other day purely by accident but very glad I did.
Now down to business.
Ghetto has nothing to do with race, religion or creed. It’s simply a mind set that some people have. I was born and raised in a ghetto but yet I was never ghetto. I chose a different path.
Even though I face many if not all the same challenges that my peers face I decided not to let it adversely affect my future. I went to school and got good grades which opened the door for me to go to college.
I’m now 25 years old, I have a degree in communications and I’m doing my best to up lift myself. You don’t have a choice in where you come in but you and only you determin where you go.
So stop crying about unfair and blaming the world for your troubles. This blog is funny and it was meant simply to be funny. I’m not offended because even though I’m black and from the ghetto I am not ghetto so lets laugh, shall we. lol.
